Welcome to the exciting world of Hair and Beauty!
Academy Studio is a leading provider of Specialised Workshops and Short Courses which are practical in content, and easily understood.
Our courses are open to students of any age, from school leavers to mums returning to the work force. Though most applicants are female, we welcome applications from males as well.
At The Academy we provide the highest level of professional training, with class sizes kept to a minimum to provide as much personal attention as you need.
Our educators, with up to 28 years experience, have trained in Europe, the UK, and Australia. So you can be sure that you are getting the best possible training.

We are on a main road and there is plenty of parking in the neighboring streets when you are doing a course. If you are just shopping we have some off street spots out front.
We have a student lounge area with complementary teas, coffee and other refreshments, as well as a fridge and microwave for those who prefer to bring ther own lunches.
Our well - equipped training rooms are purpose built for the courses we offer. We also have shower facilities for some courses.
We have a showroom where you can purchase your salon requirements for Hair and Beauty.

Our Hair Educator, Director Deanna Hewett is a qualified Hairdresser, Cosmetologist, Make-Up Artist, and Cert IV Trainer and Assessor with over 28 years experience in the Hair and Beauty industry. Her background includes Hairdressing, Nails, Salon Management, Freelance Hair and Make-Up, Hair and Make-Up Teaching and Theatrical Wig Dressing. Deanna has worked on shows such as “The Phantom of the Opera”, “CATS”, and Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” and is very excited to be able to bring her expertise to The Academy. We are located above Cirque Hairdressing Salon - just enter through the salon.
Our offices are located downstairs at the the rear, and our training rooms and lounge upstairs. Some classes are also held on our Salon Floor.
