About This Training Course

This Conducting Disciplinary Investigations Training Course will examine the role of the parties involved in investigations into staff misconduct, including: the complainant; the respondent; the investigator; witnesses; the union and or other representatives.

The presenter will cover: the concept of procedural fairness; the application of policy; the importance of correct drafting of allegations; the distinction between misconduct and serious misconduct; and criminal/reportable conduct issues.

Training Course Outcomes

At the end of the Conducting Disciplinary Investigations Training Course participants will be able to conduct a preliminary investigation relating to misconduct/serious misconduct allegations.
